Residential Extensions
Extending your home is the best way of reshaping and gaining the extra space that you need rather than incurring the heavy costs of moving.
When creating your designs, the main consideration would be overall layout & the way the house would work. We will also take into account the structural effects on your home & try to minimise your budget to get you maximum value for money.
We can provide design from anything like a small kitchen extension or loft conversion to double storey side and rear extensions. No design would be considered too big or too small.
New Build Design
Designing and Building your own home is a dream for many people and also a massive undertaking which can seem quite daunting at first. In the last 10 years we have designed both self build houses for clients, as well as houses built for resale purposes. We are seasoned design and builders ourselves so we have plenty of experience.
If you have seen a plot of land or somewhere you think might be perfect for a rebuild then please contact us to discuss your ideas and requirements. Our expertise will help and advise on what you are likely to get through the planning authority and what restrictions you might be up against.
Garage Conversions
A garage conversion is often the easiest way of providing an additional room or adding much needed space to an existing one with minimal disruption to the house. Its worth considering that garage conversions can sometimes be done without the need for planning permission if the garage is already an integral part of the house.
Loft Conversions
A loft conversion is another suitable way of adding extra space hat you essentially have sitting there already. Loft conversions, including hip to gable extensions or rear dormers, can often be constructed under Permitted Developments which avoids the unnecessary process of neighbourhood consultations within the permission process. We will be able to advise you whether or not your project falls within the scope of Permitted Developments or whether planning approval will be required. We will then recommend which type of application will suit the work that you are intending to carry out.
